A world record
Our busking season came to an end yesterday. We are very much a summertime, fair weather busking group. There were four of us there yesterday and although only two played we had our best financial return ever, over €40 to go along with a sterling £10 note. A world record.

Hobo Paddy is something of a musical right hand man for me. We do Clearbrook Nursing Home together and he is always therefore the Nearys gigs. Yesterday he bought 20 tickets for the NCH gig. Above and beyond the call of duty.

As I often do, I had lunch yesterday in Hugo’s restaurant on Merrion Row. They were busy. It seemed there was a group there who are known as the friends of the national concert Hall. I am now a friend of the NCH.
