Life update
Yesterday four weeks ago we were in the NCH. There are times when it seems a little unreal. Did it really happen? Thankfully there is video evidence to prove that it did. It was the best night of my life. To be on stage with so many friends and to have more friends and family…

Next stop Cork?
The madness of the NCH has died down. And what a glorious madness it was. I have two ideas for next year, The Cork Opera House in June and then a return to the NCH around this time next year. With regard to the Cork idea, it would depend on the involvement of the Irish…

We pulled it off
Epic, amazing, dream come true. These are the words that I am settling on, 914 was the final sales figure. Only 20 of the complementary 50 seats were used which took us to 934. There were some people who could not make it on the night, so the attendance was approximately 920. It was a…

A fighting chance
801. Add on the 50 and we are at 851. 1092 is the mark without the choir balcony seats. We still have a day to go. There is a possibility of getting on the Oliver Callan show tomorrow morning. If we did manage to get that, I feel we would get very close to the…

In with a shout
637. Add on 50 and we are at 687. In order to fully sell out we need to do 547 in eight days. It’s a tall order. I have two local radio interviews to do this week. They should generate some seats. I feel we are still in with a good shout. Had a very…

A fab week
487. We moved 101 tickets this week, our best return so far. Add on 50 and we are at 537, approaching the halfway mark with two weeks to go. I believe we will do it.

Doing OK
384. Add in the 50 complementary seats and we are at 434. This week I got chatting to the box office manager Ashling. She felt we were doing OK. That is good enough for me.

A good sales week
346. We sold 55 this week, over twice what we sold the previous week. Add in the complementary tickets and we are close to 400, not far short of one third full We are getting there.

Sounding good
We had our first rehearsal yesterday. There was a very good turn out with just a couple of people missing for good reasons. The choir sounded fantastic. The rest of the gang were equally as good Things are shaping up.

More numbers
291. Add in the 50 complementary seats already allocated to Fighting Blindness and we are at 341. 309 is the quarter full mark, so we have less than 900 to do in five weeks. My idea is to get close to 600 allocated seats with 10 days to go and then look for Radio time…
