As good as it gets?
I am just back from a very pleasant liquid lunch with a friend. At one point she asked how I was doing. I replied the best ever. I am on reasonable terms with absolutely everybody in my life. I am more peaceful than I have ever been. Is this as good as it gets?

A very nice way to effectively end a 60 year relationship
I was out with my middle brother during the week. We had agreed beforehand not to talk about Mam and the will. We attended a fantastic concert together. It was a really good way to effectively call it quits.

The mist is thickening

Heading for Wexford?
I had a fantastic afternoon yesterday with four friends in Wexford. Two old, two new. The glasses of wine in the restaurant were the best that I have ever experienced. A slight tilt of the glass and a liquid could be tasted. The burger and chips were very good also. During the afternoon the possibility…

Forgiveness
It seems to me that forgiveness is one of the keywords when it comes to peace of mind. Forgiveness of others and more to the point forgiveness of oneself. I feel I am doing okay on the former. The latter continues to be a work in progress.
