It all began in earnest on the afternoon of Thursday April 6. At that stage in proceedings The Kilkenny Lady was on her third hospital in the space of three weeks. To cut a long story short I attended a meeting in the Beaumont Hospital on that fateful Thursday and I emerged from that same meeting feeling somewhat agitated. Extremely agitated.

To cut an even longer story even shorter again I now find myself on the other end of the most challenging 5 weeks of my entire life. The bottom line is that The Kilkenny Lady will soon be returning to the 5 star institution that is Clearbrook Nursing Home.

But what a journey it has been to get there.
