Making mistakes

So there I was, having just had my ears lowered by Vidal of Portobello, making my way down Aungier Street. I was just outside the college when I realised that my bearings had suddenly disappeared. I was at the junction of Whitefriar Street and unsure of myself. Fortunately a passer by came to my assistance and all was soon well again. In order to recover from this traumatic experience I decided a visit to The Great Institution of Chatham Street was in order. Making my approach from Chatham Row I somehow managed to overshoot the runway and miss the entrance. Dearie me. Luckily The Movie Mogul came to the rescue and I was soon in pole position doing my bit for The Guinness Pensioner. It’s all go with this eyesight gig.

Over in the world of classical guitar work is nearing a close on an arrangement of the tune ‘Autumn Leaves’. Eva Cassidy first made me aware of this lovely piece.

Across in the world of chess my rating currently stands at a highly respectable 1490, despite a recent crushing defeat to The King of Headfort.

It’s all about minimising mistakes.
