Hallelujah

Everything’s gonna be alright. I can say this with complete and utter confidence now that I have plonked my rear end down in The Great Institution and availed of some of the good stuff there. What other barometer of wellbeing is there? And just as I was starting to make a move back to The Ranch, who should give me the big hello only The Jazz Man?

It was good to see him again.

A professional guitarist of some note he has been plagued by a very troublesome finger nail for many years and is hoping to finally get it sorted soon. When I felt confident that he was standing very securely I imparted to him the news that I intended to start serenading the good citizens of Grafton Street with a few classical guitar ditties sometime in the near future. ‘Speed and fluency are the issues’, I informed him. ‘Don’t mind the speed, just focus on the fluency’ came his sage like reply.

And so there it is, my new catchphrase; focus on the fluency.

Sounds good to me.
