The King of Namibia and Uncle Sam have been dropped and are no more, and so it’s back to the regular Gang of Four. Victory over The Diligent Drumcondra Man means I’m up to 1356. Meanwhile the US Masters is under way and the appropriately named Englishman Justin Rose has taken an early lead. Many of the pre tournament favourites have struggled however a certain Jordan Speith, a previous winner, is lurking with intent. Rory McIlroy needs a good round today to prolong his interest. The tension is mounting.
Over in the world of rugby, Leinster and Ulster are in European action, and in the land of the beautiful game The Boys From Anfield will seek to recover from a midweek mauling at the hands of Real Madrid.
