Making words sing

From time to time I put a few words together to form a sentence or two and then reflect to myself that I do appear to be making a little bit of progress with my various pieces of scribbling. It seems to me that words should flow in the way that a beautiful piece of music invades the senses. One of these days I hope to make my words sing, from the opening bar to the close.

In the meantime it’s all go in the world of classical guitar. The ongoing quest to inject a little speed into the various digits on my hands continues. The ‘Cavatina’ three quarters line has been approached and tackled, however its defence is holding firm for now. My snail like progress on Pachelbel’s ‘Canon in D’ and the Mason Williams tune ‘Classical Gas’ trundles along.

I’ll get there, somehow, some day, somewhere.

  3. If it brings you joy who cares how it flows? there are always days when the ideas and words flow and then there are the other days when climbing the Wellington monumnet would be easier.

    1. Exactly! Some days the words demand to be let out, on others they remain quiet☺️ though I do like it when they flow!
