The biggest obstacle I face daily in my musical learning, and in other aspects of my humble existence, is located in that space directly between my very own two ears. In a word, concentration, and the lack of it by times.
And so as I approached the junction of Drumcondra Road and Griffith Avenue earlier this afternoon, it was all systems go with a view to reaching the centre island without getting into any kind of disagreement whatsoever with any of those lamppost yokies, and lo and behold I managed it. Nothing quite like a bit of mental alertness when ones left kneecap is on the line.
A very pleasant afternoon was had with The Kilkenny Lady as we caught up with the latest Cheltenham exploits of Rachael Blackmore, before it was time to head back in to The Ranch.
Rugby returns tomorrow with The Boys In Green taking on the Auld Enemy England, Wales going for the Gradslam against France, and The Scots all set to devour The Pizza Pasta Lads and then have a little gelato for dessert.
