My Good Self has launched his latest scheme with a view to conquering the world.
It’s called The Virtual Music School For People With Disabilities.
The idea is as follows;
1. Source a person with a vision impairment/disability who is interested in learning a musical instrument.
2. Find a sponsor who is willing to pay for 3/4 of the tuition cost, the student paying the balance.
3. Connect the student with an online tutor.
Tuition packages cost 400 euro for 15 lessons of 45 minutes each.
Launched on Friday 8 May the scheme has thus far proven to be an outstanding success, with 14 sponsorship arrangements already in place.
The Music Mad Golfer very kindly agreed to kick things off and he was soon joined by My Good Self, The Agatha Christie Authority, The Corpo’ Taxi Dude, The King and Queen of Staines, Ordinary Man and The Galwegian Golfer and His Good Lady, amongst others.
So if there is anyone out there with a philanthropic heart and 300 euro to spare, or even 100 euro for a part sponsorship, or maybe even to put together a group sponsorship of six people at 50 euro each, give me a shout!
