I said something wrong

Yesterday was Tuesday , October 22, 2019.

It saw My Clarinet And Harmonica Mate pop around to My Official Residence for some Melodic Revising (music practice).

We went over a few tunes on The Clever Little Instrument (harmonica), chewed on a couple of very tasty Danish pastries and reflected upon life and its various ups and downs.

Later in the day I received a call from The Belgian Boy. I had not heard from him for a few moons so it was most pleasing to catch up with him again and to see how things were progressing in The Land of Chocolate and Beer (Belgium).

A short time after and I was hearing the call from The Great Institution of Chatham Street. I made my way over to the hallowed halls and received The Welcoming Hello from The Budapest Boy. In no time at all I had A Lovely Pint of The Black Stuff (Guinness) n front of me.

All was well.

Also on duty was The Red Devil. We discussed the finer points of the recent encounter between Manchester United and Liverpool. We were agreed that The Boys From Anfield were fortunate to escape Old Trafford with a point.

Today saw My Good Self wander down to my local Emporium of Escapism (Cinema) to see the recently released ‘Official Secrets’. A true story of a brave woman who tells the truth in the lead up to The Iraq War, and in doing so jeopardises her freedom and her marriage. I can heartily recommend it to one and all.

On exiting The Emporium Of Escapism what happens to My Good Self only I hear The Call From Chatham Street.

Rarely do I ever disregard this call when it comes my way so I ventured forth to The Great Institution. The Budapest Boy was again on duty. He was ably assisted by The Cycling Correspondent. I had the good fortune to be reunited with the two visitors from the Land Of Uncle Sam (US) that I had met two nights previously.

Later, back at My Official Residence, The Boys From Anfield (Liverpool) are in action in the Champions League against Genk, a team from The Land Of Chocolate and Beer. The Boys From Anfield emerge victorious despite a shaky first half.

At this stage in proceedings, It’s Late In The Evening And I’m feeling a little dozy.

Time to Hit The Hay.
